Join Our Core Team

One of the first actions needed for any project is the establishment of a core team, united through shared values. They must share the same Vision and Mission and work in harmony to achieve their goals. Based on the Octologue creative circle guidelines, a core team requires 8 individuals. Each core team member represents a group of closely related individuals. Each member is required to provide a due diligent response in social organization and general interests of the core group of members. Each member is to participate in the Octologue practice.

About Us

We are City of Light 1320 a group of individuals starting a new beginning with Sovereignty, Creativity, and Regenerative Living as the core of our values.

Possibly the first major challenge any community will face will be in selecting the core members. CDL13:20 is not an intentional community, rather it is a shared co-operation to establish a lifestyle that all the members agree to work towards together. We seek to find individuals who wish to live off-grid, privately and in harmony with nature. Individuals willing to do so on their own, if need be. Although it is possible for an individual to establish an off-grid home by themselves, many fail to achieve this goal due to unforeseen events. CDL13:20 offers such individuals an opportunity to take action in relocating with the security of mutual aid provided by the team. This allows individuals to reduce their risk of failure due to having support if they become ill, injured and insolvent.

CDL13:20 believes in natural law, meaning that only objective and definable terms that can be agreed by absolute definition to be of a common sense among the core members. All administrative powers will be held up by the witness and testimony of the group members. That no instruments of insurance or limited liability will be practiced among CDL13:20 administration and treasury. That all core members partake equally in liability, risk and yield.

Our Mission

The core team will face the most challenging and uncomfortable environment initially. The implementation of infrastructure will be dependent on the core team and therefore they will receive the most reward in participation.

Our ideal Core Members aspire to reside permanently within the community and actively engage in the broader Freedom Movement. They oppose the prevailing political, medical, security enforcement, legal, national educational, military, agricultural, Gregorian Time and Date Standard, as well as the industrial and economic systems imposed by national and international organizations.

Core Team Formation

How we organize, grow, and protect our freedom—together

Ciudad de Luz 13:20 is forming its core through a simple, living practice:
small circles of eight people (“Octologues”) that connect into a wider network (“Freedom Cells”).
It’s decentralized by design, rooted in natural law, and focused on real mutual aid.

What this means for you

  • Everyone has a voice: We use unanimous consent to reach decisions people can truly stand behind.

  • Values in action: Honesty, integrity, love, and creativity guide how we collaborate.

  • Resilience first: Each circle supports food, health, learning, safety, and livelihood.

  • Fractal growth: When one circle is full, new circles form and interlink—like mycelium.

How we’ll practice it here

  1. Start with one founding circle of 8 committed members.

  2. Meet regularly, track commitments, rotate facilitation.

  3. Build practical mutual-aid (skills, supplies, gardens, care, security).

  4. Link with other circles to form a robust, sovereign network.
